Second time I have stayed here in last 12 months. The views of the marina from the rooms at the front of the hotel in winter are quite splendid. The view from the cheaper rooms at the back not so much - unless you like car parks! The included buffet breakfast is excellent and has a lot of choice decent eggs and bacon.

We got twin room with bathtub as well as beautiful view over the fjord, had very nice experience here. The breakfast was generous and varied, the check in was early.

Some people working there were not very friendly.

The breakfast buffet was impressive, with scrambled eggs that did not look like a big clot of yellow stuff. Our room was very elegant and the beds very comfortable.

The rooms we booked on your service turned out to be in a back side building which required me to walk either up or down 8-10 steep stairsteps. I am a handicapped person with specific hip problems that do not permit stepping up stairs. I had to fight with the receptionist about being given another (probably pricier) room which I could reach without climbing any stairs. Pretty deceitful advertising, I would call that, offering hotel rooms for NOK 1095,- that can only be reached by stepping up or down staircases (no lifts).

The family room was spacious and clean, equipped with a tv and refrigerator. The indoor swimming pool was awesome, and the breakfast buffet had a huge variety, including fresh pastries and organic juices. Location was perfect, right near the marina and town center, with great views of the fjord.

Beds were excellent for sleep quality. Breakfast first class good quality and veriety.

Traffic noise especially at the rear of the hotel with speeding cars reving engines till early hours of Friday morning the 20th May.
